This unoaked Aglianico has an enticing scent of violets, meadow flowers, dark chocolate, cinnamon, black fruits, wild herbs and mint. A moreish wave of salinity brings in a cavalcade of black cherry, raspberry, white pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate, cassis and violet flavours, then a streak of wild thyme and mint.
