Family-owned Viticoltori de Conciliis farms 15 hectares of vines organically in southern Campania. Fresh and drinkable, this Aglianico from the estate demands to be paired with a hefty slab of meat or an aubergine lasagne to help soak up its not inconsiderable 14.5% alcohol and open up its tannic structure. A rich black fruit and violet-perfumed nose leads to a grippy, concentrated palate with inky depths of black and blue fruits, more violet notes and a crushed rock and damp earth character.
