Made using grapes from vineyards between Florence and Siena of the Chianti Classico zone. A savoury nose of soy sauce, preserved cherry, hay and wood. Juicy mulberry, wolfberry and dark cherry on the palate, with plenty of wood tannins and fresh acidity to form the structure. Warming sweet spices and liquorice linger on.
