Forget Pinot Grigio – the rare ancient grape Famoso seems to be making a comeback. It’s not surprising when it offers so much: spring blossom, apricot and spice in the glass. It is aromatic – think Viognier – but slightly more restrained, with good texture and weight lifted by a spine of acidity.
