Lovely white pepper and strawberry aromas and flavours (archetypal of the Vespolina variety); then it turns savoury and dense, with a peppery, tannic bite on the long, fruity finish. This tannic clout is another characteristic of this variety, but it becomes softer and increasingly floral with aeration.
