Cascina Val del Prete, Luet Arneis, Roero, Piedmont, 2016

Great intensity on the nose, with very vibrant tropical fruit, particularly mango and banana. It is markedly voluminous on the palate, matched by bold, ripe fruit, and would benefit from a touch more acidity for balance. That being said, the sheer weight of this wine gives considerable character and the quality shines through on the long, tropical finish. Aged for six months in stainless steel.
