This Barolo is a great buy if you enjoy tannic, oaky reds. It has bright cherry fruit aromas, with more red fruit on the palate and a tight, woody grip. Black pepper hints lead onto a dried strawberry finish. Although it has decent length, it does lack depth - but you can't really demand more at this price! Part of Lidl's core range.
