Drinking Window: 2021 - 2025
The Terre del Barolo cooperative in Castiglione Falletto was established in 1958 and today has more than 300 members. This release from the 2016 vintage – rated five stars and 'exceptional' by Decanter's Stephen Brook – shows lovely evolution, with red berry and cherry fruit, some spicy oak notes from 18 months ageing in 50/100hl French and Slavonian oak barrels, and a good balance of acidity and tannic structure. Delicious.
