Cortese, Nostru Catarratto Lucido, Terre Siciliane, 2019

A Sicilian speciality, Catarratto Lucido can be found in some Etna Bianco blends but here it takes centre stage. It has a distinct lemon juice scent, filled out with flavours of green apple, a touch of pear and subtle stone fruits. There's a touch of saline minerality too, which helps to prolong the finish. Easy-drinking and summery.
