Viognier isn't a grape you typically associate with Italy, but this Sicilian bottling offers good varietal typicity, at a value price. It's exuberant in nature – Viognier isn't a shy and retiring grape – with fruity generosity. Swirl and sip and you'll find peachy, floral and leafy notes, and just a hint of residual sugar (though this is still a dry wine). Would make a good party wine.
