Cantina Tramin, Pepi Sauvignon, Alto Adige/Südtirol, 2021

Fermented in stainless steel then matured in oak on the lees for six months, this northern Italian Sauvignon highlights the variety's crispness and leafy green fruit aromatics, with just a hint of nuttiness. Ripe and textured, its lemon, pear, apple and gooseberry fruits are framed by some subtle spice and mineral, stony acidity.
