This blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from near Florence is as herbal and black fruited as you might expect, given the grape varieties. Fermented in stainless steel then matured for 18 months in oak, it has chunky tannins and bright raspberry acidity which gives a mouthwatering finish.
