La Leccia, Cantagrillo, Toscana, Tuscany, Italy, 2019

Using a portion of late-harvest, partially dried-on-the-vine grapes, half of this 100% Trebbiano Toscana is fermented and matured in a mix of oak, acacia, sour cherry and mulberry barrels; the other half in stainless steel. It has a delicious smoky, grilled pineapple aroma with candied lemon, ripe apple and herb flavours lifted by floral hints.
