Matured for 16 months in second- and third-fill French oak barriques, then a further 14 months in bottle, this 100% Sangiovese boasts a fragrant red berry aroma accompanied by some barrel spice. Tannic, intense, spicy and tangy, this is a mouthwatering red filled out with some rich red and black cherry, blackberry, and hints of chocolate and tobacco on the finish. Pretty and appealing.
