Made by celebrated winemaking consultant Alberto Antonini, this Sangiovese-dominant blend with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon focuses on its rich, ripe fruit, with only a portion of the wine maturing in large oak casks to offer mellow spice. There's good grip from inky black fruit, but the overall impression is smooth, plush and easy.
