From one of Tuscany’s more unheralded regions, this is a cheery, unpretentious little number whose pleasure derives from unoaked, ripe cherry fruit. It’s a truly refreshing glass, with the finely balanced tannins bringing structure, but always playing an admirably restrained supporting role.
