Contesa, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, Umbria 2022

Fun, fun, fun: this bubblegum-hued rosé made from the Montepulciano grape is as exuberantly flavoured as it looks in the glass, with abundant ripe and juicy red cherry, strawberry and redcurrant fruit. Don't worry – there's only a couple of grams of residual sugar, which is barely discernible – so the only sweetness you'll find is fruit sweetness. Frivolous and super-drinkable.
