Castellore, Specially Selected Pinot Grigio delle Venezie, Veneto, Italy 2023

Supermarket Pinot Grigio can be a real disappointment: wet and white being the main descriptors. So this was something of a surprise, showing nice grip and texture alongside the characteristic ripe pear juiciness. It's not Aldi's best white, but if you are a fan of the variety you'll enjoy this.
