Soave Classico is among the new additions to Majestic's Definition range, and is an ideal choice for those who want a food-friendly, unoaked white. It's majority Garganega with 26% Chardonnay ; regulations allow up to 30% Chardonnay in the blend. Grapes are sourced from two vineyards, and the wine spends three months on lees in concrete and stainless steel. Clean and fruit forward with fresh green apple character, there's also an underlying flinty minerality. Mix-six price: £12.99.
