Here's one for the wine adventurer, an aromatic and unoaked white made in a tiny appellation in the foothills of the Italian Alps, from the white Vespaiolo, a grape variety usually destined for sweet wines. This one, new to Majestic, has 7g/L residual sugar but tastes dry, fresh, with warm orange citrus notes. Bottled under screwcap for maximum freshness, it's an uncomplicated wine to drink young – perhaps as an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc. (Mix-six price: £8.99)
