Tenuta Sant'Antonio, La Bandina, Valpolicella, Superiore

This excellent Valpolicella Superiore - a blend of predominantly Corvina and Corvinone with 20% Rondinella, 5% Croatina and 5% Oseleta - displays herbal hedgerow fruit aromas with licks of spice, leading into an intense mouthful of super-fresh as well as dried red and black berries. Mouthwatering and succulent, it has shape and structure, culminating in a tight finish which draws everything together nicely. Matured for 24 months in new 25hl French oak casks.
