An elegant red blend from the Valu Lui Traian region of Moldova. Candied red berries, dark cherry, dried rose, cedar, and a hint of dried herbs. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, it's ripe but well-structured on the palate with refined tannins and juicy dark fruits. Sour red and black cherry, dark plums, roasted coffee beans and black tea are elevated by a solid level of acidity. A touch of woody smoke towards the finish. An absolute delight perfect for roasted meats.
