Tesco, Finest Pinot Noir, Central Otago, New Zealand, 2018

Made for Tesco by Villa Maria, this Pinot Noir has an intense, almost jammy black cherry and raspberry character, with a herbal layer that gives some interest and a hint of tarry bitterness (presumably from the oak) on the mid-palate. It's certainly not subtle but if you enjoy big-hitting New World Pinot Noir you should give this a try.
