Left Field is a 'whimsical approach to exploration, creativity and imagination' – the offbeat side of the more serious Te Awa. Fruit for this wine comes from two leading growers in the Gisborne region and while the result is not quite on par with leading Spanish examples, the peachy, melon and citrus notes of the variety shine through.
