Villa Maria, Keltern Vineyard Chardonnay, Hawke's Bay 2014

A fine example showcasing a mix of primary fruits and bottle development with a lot of detail. Aromas include ripe citrus and tangerine, gun flint and a fine toasty quality, moments of baked peach, and echoes of vanilla. Complex and complete on the palate with a satin-cream texture, fine toasty qualities and plenty of acidity. The attributes of fruit, texture, oak and slow bottle development have melted together into a seamless, delicious example. Will continue to develop, but quite perfect now.
