Lots of varietal and regional typicity in this juicy Marlborough Sauvignon, which is named after the green lip mussels harvested in Marlborough Sounds. An unoaked blend from 14 plots, it delivers bright goseberry and lime aromas with a hint of bell pepper. Three months on lees adds creaminess to the texture, to balance the intense fruit – more gooseberries, lime and grapefruit – with zingy acidity.
