DWWA 2018 Value Platinum Medal: A beauty with a sonorous gooseberry, passion fruit, nettle and grapefruit bouquet, then a creamy, zesty palate picking up the citrus fruits promised by the bouquet, throwing in nectarine, capsicum and the odd white pepper/tropical fruit note for good measure. It all works marvellously well, vibrant juicy acidity providing a high-tensile backbone. A very accomplished, food-friendly style that will find many fans.
