Available in only 34 stores, this Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is made by the talented winemaker Matt Thompson. Rohe means 'territory' in Maori, and this wine originates 100% from the Wairau, which tends to give wines with a more tropical fruit profile than some other areas in the region. And yes, you can definitely see that influence here, in the passion fruit exuberance. But as well as the forward fruit, there's also an attractive rounded character to this, and more complexity than you'd find in many Marlborough Sauvignons on the shelf.
