The Ned, Skyscraper Sauvignon, Marlborough, New Zealand 2021

Marlborough brand The Ned has been hugely successful with its regular Sauvignon Blanc, which has been a massive seller for Majestic. Named after the highest hill on the Marisco estate, Skyscraper is a premium addition to the range, part fermented in French oak to add complexity and weight. The Waihopai fruit gives it a ripe, tropical fruit character, with juicy mango purity. It's less blowsy than regular Ned though, and definitely worth trying if you're a fan of that wine.
