A great reminder that Port is not just for Christmas, this modern tawny from Rita Ferreira is a lovely match for hard cheeses as well as caramel desserts and fruit cake. A field blend of indigenous grapes including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, the nose offers layered aromas of raisins, sultanas, ripe red fruit and candied peel. Lush but fresh palate, with toffee, dried fruit and hints of mocha, plus a lingering finish.
