Kopke, São Luiz Colheita Tinto, Douro Valley, Portugal, 2019

A fruit-driven Douro red, made from a blend of native grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Frabca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Cão. Aromas of black and blue berries, with a touch of florality. Spicy, dusky black friut palate, with blackberries, cassis, damsons; plus good balancing freshness. Lightly oaked; medium tannins are well-integrated, with spiciness on the finish.
