Quinta Nova, Colheita Rosé, Douro Valley, Portugal, 2017

This pretty 2017 rosé is the third vintage from this 250-year-old estate, producing 17,000 bottles a year and on sale for the first time in the UK. It's on trend, with its pale colour which belies the firm structure of the Tinta Roriz, partially fermented in oak. It has fresh flavours of red berry fruit, a decent balancing acidity, and fine length.
