Taste the Difference Discovery Collection Castelão, Lisboa, Portugal 2021

New to the Discovery Collection, this is a great example of Portugal's modern reds. More often used in blends, Castelão is in the spotlight here, giving a wine with bright red fruit aromatics, lots of cherry and white pepper. Ripe, brambly fruit on the palate with notes of Pink Lady apple, plum, oregano and thyme. Super value for money.
