Morrisons, The Best Vinho Verde, Vinho Verde, Portugal 2023

Plenty of crunchy green apple and lime zest on the nose and palate. A touch of sweetness on the finish rounds off the high acidity (6.9g/l). Savoury and fresh, with alcohol at just 10%, it’s nothing complicated but delightfully easygoing as a light-hearted food wine. The 2023 vintage was made by Consulvinus, part of the João Portugal Ramos group.
