Morrisons, The Best South African Sauvignon Blanc, Coastal Region, South Africa 2023

A classy Sauvignon Blanc from a warmer region; passion fruit ripeness with an undertone of gooseberry and green apple, and an additional layer of mango on the palate, lifted by crunchy acidity at 6g/l. Three to six months on lees bring rounded texture and depth. Pure and concentrated throughout, with a cleansing bite of lemon zest on the finish. The youthful 2023 vintage was made by Cape Town producer Trizanne Signature Wines.
