Painted Wolf, Old Vine Chenin Blanc, Paarl, 2015

From a single block of 30 year old vines, fermented in barrels using wild yeasts and no acid or sugar additions. The wine has a rich nose of caramelised apple, while the palate is dry and intense, with creamy apple and stone fruit flavours offset by the zingy acidity. Beeswax appears on the finish. Beautiful.
