Bon Courage, The Gooseberry Bush, Robertson, 2019

This has an intense nose of summer meadow flowers and, yes, a touch of gooseberry too - but there's more tropical fruit than green fruit here. It lacks varietal character in the mouth, probably due to the inclusion of Colombard in the blend which fills out the Sauvignon and makes this wine more citrussy and tropical than gooseberry and herby.
