New to Sainbury's, here's a perfect winter wine from top South African winemaker Abrie Beeslar. A blend of roughly equal parts Pinotage, Merlot and Cab Sauv, with dashes of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it spends 12 months in French oak. A satisfying red with aromas of cassis, mint and blackcurrant leaf, followed by a super-smooth palate of ripe black berries and plums, with hints of spice and graphite, plus silky tannins.
