From the Banghoek Valley, between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, this has a crystalline, honeyed nose full of apples, pineapple and honeysuckle. The palate is beautifully textured with a lively, zesty freshness underpinning ripe peach and apricot flavours. It’s complex and characterful; touches of cinnamon, toast and petrol give weight and interest. Elegant, precise, moreish.
