Available only as a pre-order by the six-bottle case, this South African Syrah is due to arrive in September. If you're into the classic round, ripe, violet-infused black and blue fruits and peppery spice that Syrah typically gives, then this is a reasonable buy - although at £18.99 per bottle it's perhaps a bit toppy. The 20-year-old vines are hand harvested and whole-bunch fermented then matured in a mix of new and old oak barrels for 18 months.
