Dry-farmed old bush vines at Perdeberg Winery in Paarl contribute to this mouthfilling white. Made off-dry, it could do with more acidity to balance the ripe, concentrated fruit, but the mango, melon and stone fruit flavours would pair well with savoury-sweet dishes like Cape Malay chicken curry.
