Reyneke, Vinehugger Organic Red, Western Cape, South Africa 2019

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, this organically farmed red has both New World ripeness and richness – sweet plum, cocoa and violet – but also more earthy, meaty and farmyardy characters too, with a hint of pepper. It's medium bodied and would work well with the Sunday roast beef or lamb.
