Savage & Louw, Albert Road Pinot Noir, Western Cape, South Africa 2020

Made with fruit from cooler vineyards in the Western Cape, by winemaking pair Duncan Savage and Thys Louw. A portion of the wine was aged in French oak, and this gives it a soft spiciness. You'll find red berry fruit flavours here, restrained, and with gentle tannins. A decent everyday Pinot, but don't expect great complexity.
