Simonsig, Kaapse Vonkel Brut, Western Cape, 2018

This youthful and vibrant blend of Chardonnay (55%), Pinot Noir (43%) and Pinot Meunier (2%) exhibits a pale straw colour and small persistent bubbles. On the nose it is overt, lively and inviting with aromas of citrus fruits, apple skins, star fruits and fresh dough. On the palate it lively, refreshing and it is accompanied by pleasant savoury notes that add complexity.
