This characterful Portuguese grape found its way to South Africa four decades ago and its heritage vines now deliver concentrated, mouthfilling flavours of yellow apples, lemongrass tea and smoky manuka honey. One of the best of Aldi’s new range when the 2022 vintage was introduced – this 2023 should be hitting shelves soon, complete with a cute label that will stand out in the ice bucket.
