Clairette Blanche is a variety usually seen in white Châteauneuf-du-Pape and increasingly in South African white blends. Here, as a rare varietal wine from 37-year-old vines, its shows an excellent texture, with mealy, nutty tones melding with white blossom, green herb and apricot flavours. Online only.
