This Tempranillo-dominated blend, from the often-overlooked Cariñena region, is a great place to seek value for money. Some lingering fresh red cherry on the nose with tertiary notes of dried cranberry, dried orange peel, prune, liquorice and a touch of vanilla. Some slightly crunchy fruit on the palate with good acidity on the finish. Slightly rustic but charming.
