Raíces, Albillo, Castilla y Léon, Spain 2021

Albillo is a grape variety indigenous to Castilla y León, and here it spends 40 days on the lees with batonnage, giving a very floral wine with yellow fruits and touches of spice and cream. Fresh and saline yet round and with that creaminess in the background, flavours of yellow plum, stone fruits anf ripe apple lead to a sapid finish. Lovely.
