The extreme diurnal range of the region (sometimes swinging 30° in a day) has meant the Tempranillo here has evolved to produce smaller grapes with thicker skins. This in turn has given this wine a deep concentration of flavour. Red and black cherry on the palate with a hint of vanilla and baking spices from its seven months in oak.
