The Society's first Exhibition Ribera bottling, made by Bohorquez, a small estate part-owned by sherry producer Sánchez-Romate. It's 90% Tempranillo, the rest Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged mostly in French oak. It's an elegant style for Ribera, with a good intensity of fruit, some toastiness from the oak and good freshness. Just about ready to drink, but would certainly be worth putting aside for a year or two longer. Decant before serving.
